Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager- Civils

Location: UK based, travel required 

Salary: £80,000- £125,000 PA

Job Type: On Site, Permanent, Full time

Lynx Forecourt Limited are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team.

They’re looking for a Senior Contracts Manager with the desire and drive to become a director for the company.

Job Description: 

• Plan and execute all construction phase works, including temporary works, manage subcontractors, labour deployment in line with a detailed construction phase plans. Develop and maintain systems to support the activities involved. 
• Ensure that all parties involved in the construction of all Lynx Construction Group work activities are communicated to in an efficient and effective manner. Ensure client liaison communication is industry leading along with effective liaison and coordination with external bodies, including PO’s, Building Control, HSE etc. 
• Execute a reliable system to ensure that information reaches all parts of the business that it is required. All client, site and subcontractor information is passed and communicated between site and central Hub. Systems are in place and being used and monitored for all information to be acted upon. 
• Ensure all variation to contracts are logged and instructions are in place for works to be completed. Develop and maintain systems to monitor performance against established standards. Take necessary steps to communicate/advise/assist accordance to performance levels. 
• Accountable to delivering the project to within agreed cost’s, within area of responsibility. Ensuring effective and efficient use of company resources. 
• Ensure that Lynx Corporate Health and Safety policy and systems remains up to date and industry leading. 

Project Scale Indicators:

• 1. Typical number of Projects: - 1-10 at any one time
• 2. Typical Value Range of any one Project: -£75k – £1.5m
• 3. Typical duration of build: - 2 – 14 weeks.

The right candidate will have:

1. Minimum of 10 years of Contract Management- Civils experience (essential) 
2. Managed projects valued £75K–£1.5M, mainly commercial (essential) 
3. JCT and NEC contract law experience (essential)
4. Legacy training SMSTS, Road and Street works act – Supervisor, Chapter 8 Signing, Temporary works coordinator (CITB) 
5. Full UK driving licence (required)
6. EV or Petroleum experience (desirable but not essential) 
7. Building regulation compliance and liaison
