Job Summary: We seek a skilled and detail-oriented MEP CAD / Revit Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create, update, and maintain MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings using CAD and Revit software. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all MEP designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify MEP drawings and models using CAD and Revit software.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of drawings and models before final submission.
  • Manage and organize project files, including maintaining up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in MEP systems using Revit.
  • Prepare and present detailed layouts, drawings, and models for approval.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to the project team as needed.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on design and technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills in CAD/Revit and MEP systems.

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an MEP CAD / Revit Technician or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience working on MEP projects in various sectors (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial).
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and modifying detailed MEP drawings and models.

Necessary Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and design principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Educational Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in CAD and Revit is preferred.
  • Continuous professional development and training in the latest MEP and CAD/Revit technologies.

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD and MEP technologies.
