Pay: £39,000 - £45,500 per year

Work Location: On the road in and around Stoke-on-Trent

We are seeking a skilled Gas Safe Service Engineer to join our team in a specialist role. This role is an opportunity to bring your specialist skills to an established HVAC team. You will take a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, collaborating with engineers and training junior staff. You will also be responsible for delivering small scale installation works and gas network upgrades.

Responsibilities 

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, specialising in commercial gas equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to improve service processes and efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all service operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in repair and maintenance, with a particular focus on commercial gas systems.

Experience

• Gas Safe qualified
• Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance, particularly within mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in guiding teams or projects preferred.
• Familiarity with air conditioning systems is highly desirable but not essential as training will be available when required.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Driving license essential
