Job Title: Admin/Front-of-house Coordinator

Location: Bramling, Kent 

Salary: Between £25,000 - £30,000 PA depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full time (Monday-Friday, 9-5pm onsite only)

Job description: 

  1. To ensure that the landline telephone at Bramling Workshops is answered promptly, transferred or call back requested.
  2. Maintain the front of house area, staff room and meeting rooms to pristine standards.
  3. Manage meeting room bookings for the main boardroom and visualisation suite.
  4. Ensuring meeting rooms are presentable and guests are offered beverages.
  5. Greet all visitors to Bramling Workshops professionally.
  6. Specific client visits – Liaise with the host to understand if there is anything we can do to ensure their visit is exemplary. Examples: taxi arrangements from the station, or a reserved parking space- then action.
  7. Using your own initiative with cleanliness of the route visitors would take.
  8. Ensure the coffee machine is in full working order and sufficiently stocked for each day.
  9. Induct guests to the fire procedures and completion of the signing in and out log.


The above will be the core deliverables of the successful candidate, it will be the candidates responsibility to ensure that the core deliverables are completed if the individual is not available due to sickness, holiday, training, lunch breaks or any other reason for absence by the role holder.


Other Role responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with their line manager, Melanie Phillips, to carry out any other reasonable roles required. These will include but not limited to;

  • Arranging couriers.
  • Ordering stationary.
  • Filing and Archiving.
  • General office administration duties.
  • Arranging premises repairs and maintenance.
  • Liaising with contract cleaners to ensure all environments are clean and tidy.
  • Preparation of presentation documentation.
  • Data inputting of Denne Joinery’s delivery notes
  • Support for DBSJ’s BUA on H&S Manuals and O&M’s.


The successful candidate should have/be:


  1. Full driving licence and access to vehicle.
  2. Comfortable using their own initiative.
  3. Very proactive and organised with a willingness to learn.
  4. Confident, professional and polite.
  5. An interest in ISO documentation/ presentations would be a bonus!
