Job Title: Contract Manager - Construction

Location: Stockport, Manchester

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 PA (DOE)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid

Job Description:

• Manage contract negotiations
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and site teams to resolve technical issues 
• Ensuring project profitability
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks 
• Managing teams
• Maintaining compliance within contracts and business operations
• Manage the specific technical requirements for installations within conservation areas and listed buildings
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met effectively

The Successful Candidate Should Have / Be:

• 5+ years experience in Contract Management
• Knowledge within heritage would be advantageous
• Effective Team Management skills and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the joinery or construction industry (preferred)
• Familiarity with the requirements of conservation areas and listed buildings is advantageous (preferred) 
• UK driving licence
