Job Title: Project Manager - Construction  

Location: Essex (Black Notley, Chelmsford) 

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 PA DOE

Job Type: Hybrid, Permanent, Full time

Real8 are looking for a Project Manager who is comfortable running their own projects and is eager to take on more ownership while broadening their experience across various sectors, with project values ranging from £100k to £5m.

About the company:

Real8 is a multi-disciplinary consultancy, which includes architecture, quantity surveying, engineering, sustainability, and more. You will engage in projects from early-stage planning through to construction and completion, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and in-house specialists.

Job Description: 

• Leading and coordinating projects across multiple sectors
• Managing programmes, costs, risks, and contracts
• Attending site visits, engaging with stakeholders, and driving delivery
• Building confidence in client-facing responsibilities

The right candidate will have/be:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience
2. Construction Project Management qualifications, or similar.EG. PRINCE2 (Foundation/Practitioner) or APM PMQ or NVQ equivalent  (preferred)
3. Construction related BSc Degree, or similar (preferred)
4. Construction contracts experience (required)
5. Full driving licence
6. Have solid construction project management experience
7. Are confident working across multiple projects/sectors
8. Renewables experience would be a bonus!
