BuildMyTalent is an innovative talent-matching platform dedicated to supporting the construction industry in finding skilled candidates for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) roles. We are not a recruitment agency but a service provider that helps companies connect with top talent through job boards and strategic advertising.

We are a start-up operating for 2.5 years. We have worked with companies across the UK, saving them hours of time and thousands in agency fees due to our disruptive business model.

Due to significant growth since the start of the year, we are now expanding and are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to join our team on a part-time basis.


The Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to help grow our customer base. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, business development, and the construction industry. You will play a key role in identifying potential clients, building relationships, and promoting our services to construction companies looking to fill their AEC roles. Full training will be provided, and you will work closely with our leadership team to drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients within the construction industry.
  • Reach out to decision-makers via email, phone calls, and LinkedIn to introduce BuildMyTalent’s services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs.
  • Educate clients on how our candidate-matching service can help them find the right talent.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop business development strategies.
  • Keep accurate records of leads, interactions, and sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to help refine our service offering.


Requirements

  • 1 Year previous experience in either Construction or Recruitment in business development, sales, or customer engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach for business development.
  • Interest or experience in the construction or recruitment sector is a plus.
