Site Manager - Timber Frame Housing

A leading PLC housebuilder is seeking an experienced No 1 Site Manager to take the reins on a timber frame residential development with an established team, delivering high-quality homes to programme, budget and the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a timber frame housing site, from groundworks through to completion and handover. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors and ensure the development is delivered safely, efficiently and to the company's exacting standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full site management of a timber frame residential project

• Managing health & safety in line with company and statutory requirements

• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and materials

• Driving programme and build quality to meet targets

• Ensuring NHBC compliance and high-quality customer handovers

• Maintaining strong site presentation and team morale

• Producing accurate reports and liaising with senior management

About You

You will be a proven Site Manager with strong timber frame experience, comfortable running a site autonomously while working within a PLC environment

You will ideally have:

• Demonstrable experience managing timber frame housing developments

• A strong track record of delivering homes on time and to quality standards

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid qualifications

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
