Town Planner – Hertfordshire

Are you a motivated Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career? I’m working exclusively with a well-established, highly respected planning consultancy based in Hertfordshire that is looking to grow its team with an ambitious planner who’s eager to develop and work on an exciting range of projects.

This is a fantastic chance to join a friendly, forward-thinking consultancy where you’ll work across residential, commercial, rural, and mixed-use developments. You’ll be supported by an experienced leadership team who truly invest in professional growth, offering genuine progression opportunities and exposure to high-quality, diverse projects.

• Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals

• Providing clear, professional planning advice to clients

• Conducting site appraisals and policy research

• Collaborating with internal colleagues and external consultants

• Building strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

• RTPI-accredited degree (or working towards chartership)

• Experience in a consultancy or local authority planning role

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage your own workload and deliver to deadlines

• A proactive, positive approach and genuine passion for planning
