Estimator Leading Civil Engineering / Groundworks Contractor
Location: Birmingham Hybrid (2 days WFH)
Salary: £55,000 £65,000 + Vehicle Package + Fast-Track Progression Opportunity

The Role:
Due to continued growth, were seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to advance their career within a well-structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and infrastructure projects

• Analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations

• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures

• Assist in bid strategy and risk assessment discussions

• Work closely with the pre-construction, design, and commercial teams to ensure accurate pricing and project feasibility

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within civil engineering, groundworks, or infrastructure

• Strong understanding of civil engineering processes, materials, and methodologies

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office packages

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
