A well-established forestry and land management organisation is seeking a Site Manager to oversee vegetation clearance works on a busy road near Pitlochry, Scotland. Known for delivering environmentally responsible solutions, they are preparing for a key roadside project starting in mid-November.
Your new role
Starting mid-November and running until the end of March, you will be responsible for managing site operations related to vegetation clearance. This includes coordinating sub-contractor teams, ensuring safety compliance, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders, and maintaining progress against schedule. The role requires strong leadership and organisational skills to manage a busy roadside environment safely and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in site management, ideally highways or environmental works.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly in roadside or high-risk environments.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure work is delivered to specification and on time.
• SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification preferred.
• CSCS Required.
• First Aid.
