This is a nice opportunity to lead on commercials in a close knit management team.

The Estimator job opportunity itself at Gloucester head office, which is a hands-on, dual-role opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing projects through from first enquiry to final account. You will be pricing work, managing costs, and supporting delivery across residential and commercial builds ranging from £100K to £1M. More specifically:

• Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions
• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
• Managing budgets, valuations, and final accounts
• Supporting site teams and attending progress meetings
• Helping to shape more efficient ways of working through cost analysis and feedback

You will have

To be successful as Estimator/Surveyor or Estimator/QS you will be an experienced Estimator with a healthy mix of the following.

• Experience in a small to medium construction business
• A practical mindset and strong commercial instincts
• Confidence with drawings, specs, and client conversations
• Sense of humour and a collaborative team spirit!
• A full UK driving licence,
