Estimator

• Would suit someone with strong sheet metal knowledge and enjoys helping customers.
• Varied position that primarily focuses on pricing up projects, working through engineering drawings, and communicating with customers.

We are seeking a Estimator to support customers on projects within the sheet metal industry. The process of the role involves estimating / pricing up sheet metal projects after the initial enquiry, which involves some basic design / navigating drawings, and then following up with customers to ensure they have all of the required information. Previous experience within the sheet metal industry is essential for this position. We need someone who enjoys working alongside customers and can spot an opportunity to open up an account.

Salary: c£35,000 to £40,000 as a guide + overtime. 25 days holiday + banks.

This Estimator job will suit:

• Experience and understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
• A strong communicator / previous experience supporting customers. This isnt a sales role, but does have account management elements to the role.
• CAD Design experience using RADAN for tasks such as nesting.
• Capable of reading engineering drawings.

The Estimator job will involve:

• The core focus to the role centres around pricing / estimating project costs from initial customer enquiries.
• Working with CAD packages and engineering drawings.
• Communicating with customers to discuss requirements and establish estimates.
• Building customer relationships and helping to open up more project work where possible.

This job is commutable from Coalville, Leicester, Ashby, Derby, Castle Donington, Nuneaton.
