Job Title Construction Manager

Salary £60 000 - 65 000 per annum + Car and Package

Introduction

We're looking for a Construction Manager to join our team in Basingstoke. In this role, you'll lead and deliver a variety of projects from power cable installations and diversions to new primary substations (up to 132kV) and refurbishment works. You'll take charge of the pre-construction phase, shape working methodologies, and keep projects on track with smart spend control.

What will I be doing?

• Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
• Carrying out site visits, chairing kick-off meetings, and reporting on progress.
• Working closely with project managers and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Driving delivery in line with agreed execution plans.
• Leading by example and building strong, collaborative relationships with clients.

What do I need to succeed?

• A strong background in the power industry, with both technical and hands-on experience.
• NEC 3 contract knowledge, plus solid planning and programming ability.
• Experience in substations, project management, and HV electrical/civils.
• Full UK driving licence (NRWSA experience essential).
