We are currently recruiting for a/an Project Manager to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Lead construction phase activities including design, procurement, installation, commissioning, energisation and transition readiness for operations
  • Manage the project integrated programme to successfully align all client interfaces and highlight critical path and interfacing interdependencies
  • Oversee the EPC contractor, solar PV and BESS suppliers to deliver to their contractual requirements on time and on budget
  • Oversee the key third party interfaces such as Distribution Network Operator, Local Planning Authority and Route To Market Provider
  • Lead the Atlantica Project Team as the primary point of contact and coordinate internal resources and reporting
  • Efficiently manage the third party advisors, such as Owner’s Engineer and planning consultant to support project activities

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones and challenges
  • Manage accurate reporting of information utilising internal Atlantica reporting systems and construction application dashboards
  • Produce regular project reports for management and lenders as required
  • Manage the project budget and forecast future cash requirements

Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Monitor project risks and proactively address issues to minimise impact on project timelines and budgets

Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE)

  • Maintain excellent health, safety and environmental standards and satisfaction of legislation, industry best practice and Atlantica’s policies
  • Oversee Principal Contractor HSQE performance, fulfil Client CDM obligations and ensure an open HSQE reporting culture
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality project
  • Attend UK office and site as required through out the project lifecycle


Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or a related field.
  • Project Management certification is desirable.
  • Health and Safety accreditations are desirable.
  • Full UK Driving License.


Experience & Personal Skills

  • 5+ years in experience in renewable energy sector ideally in solar PV and BESS projects
  • Proven experience in project and construction management
  • Experience with EPC contractors, contract management and UK Health and Safety practices
  • Familiarity with UK grid connections and local planning authorities
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills across diverse range of stakeholders
