Due to continued growth, a well-established and reputable name in the construction industry is in search of an ambitious and dynamic Project Manager who is eager to grow their career with a forward thinking business. Renowned for their work across diverse sectors including historic buildings, education, and leisure, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a range of complex projects.

You will start by leading a commercial conversion project in Edinburgh, and so a solid track record in refurbishment work is required.

As Project Manager, you will:

- Lead the procurement of subcontractors and ensure that they are appointed on time.

- Ensure that site records are produced and maintained accurately and that commercial opportunities are identified.

- Take ownership for the construction programme and ensure that it is accurately maintained.

- Produce client progress reports.

- Ensure everyone on site is sufficiently trained and identify any areas of development.

- Create and maintain strong working relationships with clients.

- Lead project review meetings.

- Ensure specified quality standards are understood and achieved.

- Organise construction phase sign off and handoff with client.

To be considered for this role, you will:

- Be degree qualified in a construction-related field or come from a trade background.

- Have demonstratable management experience within the construction industry.

- Have experience leading projects from inception to completion.

- Have a proven track record in refurbishment and conversion work.
