Location: Zone 1 – Central London with projects across London & the Southeast

The Role

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of interior fit-out projects. Working closely with the Project Director, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day site management, ensuring programmes are achieved, budgets are maintained, and exceptional quality is delivered. This role offers the chance to work on prestigious Zone 1 projects while developing your leadership profile in a people-focused, dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to handover
• Manage programmes, procurement, subcontractors, and resources to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Supervise fit-out packages, maintaining focus on sequencing, design, and technical coordination
• Identify and respond to potential delays, risks, or issues, implementing corrective actions swiftly
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, updates, and handover notes to senior leadership and clients
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, company standards, and health & safety legislation
• Maintain full commercial oversight, supporting project cost control, variations, and financial reporting
• Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a collaborative, solutions-driven culture

About You

• Proven track record as a Project Manager within the fit-out/refurbishment sector
• 3+ years’ experience with a main contractor, ideally delivering Central London schemes
• Strong technical knowledge of construction, fit-out sequencing, and design-build coordination
• Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and cost control
• Confident client-facing communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in project management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• SMSTS (or equivalent Health & Safety certification) is essential
• Strong organisational and self-management skills, able to deliver in a fast-paced, live working environment
• Degree or equivalent in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline preferred
