Facility Manager - Fulham

A high-profile residential development in London is seeking an Estate Technical Manager to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and service delivery across its estate. This role is key in maintaining high standards, supporting residents, and leading the on-site team.


Role Overview:

  • Location: Fulham, London
  • Package: Up to £50,000

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, supporting the Development Management team.
  • Supervise and manage the Estate Handyman, ensuring duties are carried out effectively.
  • Conduct statutory compliance inspections of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Manage and prioritise repairs, ensuring timely communication with residents and stakeholders.
  • Maintain estate standards in line with the quality and status of the portfolio.
  • Support resident-focused activities, enhancing use of communal facilities.
  • Ensure operational procedures are followed across the estate team and sub-teams.
  • Design and implement training and development procedures in collaboration with management.
  • Ensure smooth running of all M&E functions, liaising with contractors and facilities management.
  • Carry out site inspections, ensure compliance, and action any issues promptly.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, appraisals and performance management.
  • Motivate and inspire the on-site team to deliver a professional and consistent service to residents.
  • Handle complaints and queries effectively, maintaining strong resident relationships.


Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong background in residential or multi-purpose property management.
  • Experience supervising staff and leading on-site teams.
  • Solid technical knowledge of estate facilities, M&E services, and building structures.
  • Member of a relevant professional association with evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Confident communicator, able to handle residents and contractors with professionalism.
  • Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and manage tasks from start to finish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
