Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: Up to £56,000 (dependent on experience) + £4,500 car allowance

Location: London

Type: Permanent, full-time, hybrid site/office


About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and skilled professional to manage end-to-end engineering projects across our client’s operational sites and estate. You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle – from scoping and tendering to construction, commissioning, and handover – ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of mechanical, electrical, and ICA projects, typically valued between £100,000 and £1 million each.
  • Oversee multiple live projects simultaneously, from concept through to completion.
  • Collaborate with operational teams and contractors to develop cost-effective, low-risk solutions.
  • Maintain a zero-compromise approach to health and safety, including monthly audits.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and CDM regulations.
  • Lead project construction, financial forecasting, and reporting.
  • Approve project documentation including risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase plans.
  • Oversee commissioning, training, and handover to operations teams, ensuring all completion documents are provided.


What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Background in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering (formal qualifications preferred, e.g., BTEC/HND or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of clean water processing and/or wastewater treatment.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination skills across internal teams and external contractors.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements in construction, including CDM (training can be provided).
  • Proven experience in construction or engineering project management.
