A Civil Engineer is required to join the dynamic Civil & Structural team in Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the civil engineering design on a variety of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, education, and healthcare.
  • Prepare and oversee detailed civil engineering designs including drainage, roads, earthworks, and infrastructure schemes.
  • Undertake site inspections, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure designs comply with current legislation and design standards.
  • Liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies for planning and approvals.
  • Contribute to fee proposals, project planning, and resource management.
  • Champion sustainability and low-carbon engineering


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver civil engineering design projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK design standards, building regulations, and planning procedures.
  • Proficient in civil engineering design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and sustainable engineering.
