Estimator Construction / Civil Engineering
Location: Northampton
Salary / Pay Rate / Package: £45,000 £55,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Estimator with construction, civils, or drainage experience to join a growing contractor in Northampton.

The Role

• Prepare cost estimates for civil engineering, groundworks, and drainage projects
• Analyse drawings/specs and produce competitive tenders
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
• Conduct site visits and support post-tender negotiations
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure estimates align with project delivery plans
• Support post-tender negotiations and value engineering exercises
• Monitor industry pricing trends and maintain estimating database and tools

Requirements

• Proven Estimator experience (construction / civils / drainage)
• Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills (MS Office and estimating software)
• Knowledge of UK construction materials, methods & regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tenders independently
• Full UK driving licence
