Senior Project Manager – FX Platform Viability Assessment

Contract | Jersey (preferred) or London (with travel)

I am pleased to working with a leading financial services organisation that is undertaking a strategic initiative to assess the viability of a new FX platform.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the pre-project phase of this initiative. This role is critical in shaping the direction of the programme and is expected to evolve into managing the full delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the design of governance frameworks, delivery roadmaps, RAID logs and comms plans.
• Assess the implications of FX booking and settlement, including tax, regulatory, and reporting impacts.
• Oversee KYC/CDD requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with compliance, finance, legal and technology teams to ensure all requirements are captured.
• Build stakeholder maps and deliver documentation to support go/no-go decisions.
• Maintain momentum and deliver outputs within tight deadlines.
• Work alongside a dedicated Business Analyst on requirements capture.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager within financial services, ideally on regulatory or financial change initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory environments, and financial reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leadership and technical teams.
• Ability to cut through complexity and drive delivery.
• Highly organised, pragmatic, and delivery-focused.
• Familiarity with Channel Islands and UK banking regulations is desirable.
