Description

Immediate need for an experienced Project Manager who has been a number one on site for several schemes in the residential, student accommodation or care home sector. Exciting opportunity to join a medium sized principal contractor for a new build Care home scheme in North London circa £20million. The ideal candidate will lead the construction programme, design and quality from start to completion.

About the Project Manager role

• Lead and manage the site-based Construction team
• Oversee project planning, programming and delivery
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cost control
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, design team and supply chain
• Drive progress to meet programme milestones and deadlines
• Provide clear leadership, problem-solving and decision making throughout the build

About the Project Manager

• Proven track record in managing £15-£20million new build schemes, ideally in the care, residential or health care sector
• Strong leadership and team management skills, particularly good on design and programme management
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, programming and contract management
• Ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within targets
• Exceptional communication and client facing skills
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid required
