Description
Key role objective
The principal function of this position is to lead WJ’s water management projects and site operations, ensuring technical excellence, commercial performance, and effective client engagement. Building strong, collaborative relationships with clients at all levels is essential to WJ’s long-term success.
Key relationships
Drilling & Yard Managers and fellow Project Managers, HR Manager and their admin support team, UK Managing Director and WJ Group Chief Operations Officer (Coaching & Mentorship)
Responsibilities
Carry out project management duties:
The above is not exhaustive and you will be expected to undertake any other duties which may reasonably fall within your level of responsibility and competence. The board of WJ Groundwater Limited is committed to the implementation and certification of an Integrated Management System to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
Collaborate across UK business units-including Accounts, HR, SHE, design/technical, sales/marketing, drilling, monitoring and environmental services to build strong cross-functional relationships and support financial objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
A motivated and hardworking individual with good written and communication skills is essential.
Working Conditions
Primarily based at head office, the role includes regular UK site visits for meetings, walkovers, inductions, and project briefings. During probation, the postholder may be site-based to support skill development under the guidance of other Project Managers.
Activities on site are carried out in dynamic outdoor environments, including busy construction zones, excavations, tunnels, adits and shafts with strict adherence to safety, health & environmental (SHE) regulations.
