About the Company

A small to medium-sized, RIBA-chartered architecture practice based in Waterloo is seeking a talented architect with a minimum of two years’ post-Part 3 experience to join its friendly and award-winning team.

The practice works on a variety of high-end projects across London, including new-build and refurbishment schemes. These typically comprise mixed-use developments with components such as headquarters buildings, retail, hospitality, education and arts facilities. Many projects involve the restoration of unique buildings and demand a sensitive yet innovative architectural approach.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled architect with proven experience in the commercial sector, particularly in delivering high-quality projects in London. The role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative studio environment and is eager to take on responsibility in both design development and site delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Minimum two years’ post-Part 3 experience
• Demonstrable experience in high-quality commercial projects in London (essential)
• Strong technical ability and problem-solving skills, with confidence in developing design solutions and managing delivery on site
• Experience acting as lead designer and coordinating with contractors and consultants
• Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD, with excellent design and technical capability
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
• Personable, collaborative, and enthusiastic team player
