Description

Elsdon Group are working with a leading European contractor. Who have a strong track record of delivering HV/MV projects and data centres. They are currently looking to add a Civil Engineer to the team in Leeds. This role is hybrid, but you might be required to meet customers and contractors on site.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project team with project documentation and control, job costing, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the civil's process for projects within the Renewables and Power sectors.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide financial advice to project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for project costings.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Civil Engineering role, with a focus on Renewables, Utilities, Energy, or Substations.
• Strong understanding of, contract negotiation, and project delivery.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
