Overview:

Are you a self-driven leader with a passion for innovation in high-stakes environments? We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Research & Development team within the medical industry, focused on delivering complex new product implementations that truly make a difference. You’ll be at the forefront of leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and complexity, ensuring synchronisation across all aspects of cutting-edge R&D projects. From early-stage design to product delivery, you’ll work closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders to bring groundbreaking solutions to life.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage large, cross-functional R&D projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Deliver complex design projects for new product implementation with a hands-on, agile approach.
• Act as a critical connector between engineering teams and executive stakeholders, providing clear, insightful summaries and updates.
• Provide hands-on problem-solving support, helping teams identify and overcome technical challenges.
• Ensure alignment across workstreams and foster a collaborative, quality-focused team culture.
• Act as a customer-facing PM, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, while ensuring project excellence.

Experience:

• Senior-level project management experience in complex R&D environments.
• Proven track record delivering new product designs in regulated, complex industries such as medical devices, automotive, or aerospace.
• Strong leadership and critical thinking skills — thrives in “uncertain waters.”
• Comfortable presenting complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Agile mindset — open-minded, adaptable, and hands-on.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams, with a solid grasp of how to identify issues and allocate resources efficiently.
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in highly regulated industries with a focus on safety and compliance. ●
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications.
• Experience with design control processes in the medical device industry.
