The Role

We’re looking for a full-time Project Manager to play a key role managing the development and production of toys and board game for a diverse range of clients. Based in Camden Town, London, you’ll join our growing team to manage products from concept through to delivery — collaborating with brands to bring exciting, high-quality games to market. Your hands-on client / supplier management experience and creative problem-solving will help turn ideas into real products enjoyed by consumers around the world.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to ensure the smooth production of their board games, toys and product concepts, acting as the main point of contact for all project-related queries.
• Understanding the product brief and game rules, work with the internal design department to create detailed product specifications.
• Manage client expectations throughout the design, development, costing and manufacturing schedule.
• Manage the approval process for digital and physical proofs, with the client ensuring satisfaction at everystage.
• Plan and manage project timelines to keep everything on schedule and make sure products ship on time.
• Track production progress and jump in early to sort out any issues — keeping clients and the team in the loop.
• Ensure all safety testing and technical compliance documents are followed, including review of artwork for warnings and legal information, and test costs signed off on time, properly organised, and provided to clients.
• Coordinate with the engineering, sourcing, QA/ QC and shipment team in Hong Kong and factories to ensure quality and timely production.

Must haves

• A degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or similar.
• Super organised and great at juggling tasks — you’ve taken complex projects from idea to delivery.
• Experienced in managing stakeholder relationships — a confident communicator who works well with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to keep everyone aligned and projects running smoothly.
• A creative mind, able to think out of the box.
• Some know-how when it comes to manufacturing, logistics, and the paperwork that goes with it.
• A real team player, but also happy to run with your own projects and make things happen.
• Able to prioritise, switch gears when needed, and keep things moving on deadline.
• Sharp time management and attention to detail.
• A positive, can-do attitude — someone who brings energy to the team.

Tech Skills

• Familiar with CAD software such as SolidWorks (to open files move objects etc)
• Used to working project management tools like Wrike to keep tasks organised and projects running smoothly.
• Comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) to check artwork / layers of print etc
• Proficient user of spreadsheets
• A good grasp of compliance and quality assurance is a plus — especially if you’re familiar with lab testing and safety standards.
• Project management certification wouldbe a bonus.

Nice to haves

• Happy to travel occasionally if the project calls for it.
• A love of board games and some knowledge of the industry — always a bonus!
