About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of new software being developed by nkoda. Your primary responsibility will be to liaise between our internal teams and our clients in the music publishing industry to ensure clear and effective communication of requirements and progress, and the smooth running of projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact between the internal project team and clients, fostering strong, productive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resources, to ensure the smooth and efficient progress of projects.
  • Coordinate with internal and client teams to ensure alignment on project goals, scope, and priorities.
  • Organize and facilitate regular project meetings, including progress updates and client check-ins.
  • Manage client expectations, ensuring their needs are fully understood and communicated effectively to the internal team.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks and obstacles that may affect the project timeline, quality, or budget.
  • Track and report on the project’s progress, keeping all stakeholders informed of successes, challenges, and milestones achieved.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of the software projects within scope, on time, and within budget, while meeting client specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all project processes, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Manage software testing processes, ensuring client feedback is incorporated and the products meet high-quality standards.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in software development, with a focus on managing complex projects for external clients.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience in the music publishing industry or a related sector is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools.
  • Knowledge of software development tools and technologies is an advantage.
  • Experience in projects that involve integrations with third party systems and/or data migrations.


Salary

£70,000/year


Place of Work

nkoda is based in London. There will be flexibility on a remote/in office work split.
