Construction Site Manager

Major renewable project

We are looking for a highly skilled Construction Site Manager to oversee a large BESS project. As the number one on site, you will be responsible as the Principal Contractor for the on-site management and coordination of all activities, reporting upwards to the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture on site.
• Manage and supervise the site team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high performance and efficient operation.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for the Project Manager and senior management.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
• Maintain high-quality standards and ensure that all work meets the required specifications and standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable.
