Surveyor

Caterham, Surrey

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Surveyor join our professional Commerical team in Caterham, Surrey. Reporting to the Commercial Director your primary responsibility will be to ensure cost effective development on our sites.

you will be quantity surveying, estimating, managing costs, visiting sites, procurement and monitoring financial performance. This integral role contributes to our ongoing success and our drive to deliver first class results.

The role is based at our office in Caterham, Surrey, with travel to our sites as required.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Analyse, amend and input data, manage cost and compile monthly build cost reviews.
• Work closely with wider site teams, including the Commercial and Build teams.
• Financial administration of the procurement and payment of subcontractors and others on company development sites
• Ensure the company achieves the most cost-effective building and monitor to provide regular updates
• Produce estimations and quotations, prepare valuations, enquiries for tender and provide accurate financial recommendations

What you will bring to the role:

A degree in a relevant discipline such as surveying or construction (or equivalent).

Previous experience in a Surveyor role or similar.

• Strong communication skills, with ability to build relationships both internally and externally
• Analytically minded with a methodical approach, with strong numerical skills

Excellent IT skills using relevant software packages etc
