Job Title: Estimator (278 Works)

Location: Canterbury, Kent

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Estimator with expertise in 278 Works to join our team in Canterbury. In this role, you will provide accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, ensuring all specifications and requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for 278 Works projects, including roadworks, drainage, and infrastructure.

Review project drawings and specifications to assess scope of work.

Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate pricing.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.

Provide regular updates on project costs and budget forecasts.

Requirements:

Proven experience in estimating 278 Works projects.

Strong knowledge of civil engineering processes and standards.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.
