About the Role:

We are seeking a versatile Project Manager with experience in renewable heating and mechanical projects. This role focuses on leading upgrades and installations at an energy centre, including implementing sustainable heating systems and overseeing mechanical works. The Project Manager will ensure efficient project delivery while maintaining strong collaboration with stakeholders and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of renewable heating and mechanical upgrade projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality execution of works.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sustainability standards.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and resolve any project issues.
• Monitor project performance and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience managing mechanical or renewable heating projects.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable heating systems, such as heat pumps or similar technologies.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills for on-site project management.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in renewable energy or decarbonisation projects.
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is a plus.
