With a strong focus on detail, craftsmanship, and program management, we are looking to expand our team with a capable and experienced Project Coordinator to support our ongoing success.


Role Description

As a Project Coordinator, you will oversee multiple construction sites simultaneously. You will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating labour and skilled trades, and maintaining tight control of programs, budgets and reporting. You’ll liaise closely with site managers and office staff to ensure smooth execution, quality standards, and timely delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct material takeoffs from tenders (preferably with Quantity Surveying knowledge or background) to help gather quotes and keep within project budgets
  • Work with the office to help prepare accurate material quantities for existing and upcoming projects and tenders
  • Visit all active construction sites regularly
  • Manage, coordinate and plan site labour across multiple sites
  • Ensure efficient allocation of skilled labour to avoid downtime between projects
  • Collaborate with site managers and the office to develop and update programs of work
  • Maintain and update the program of works on a weekly basis for all sites
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality and compliance
  • Document site activities and generate professional progress reports weekly
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively, especially related to workforce and resources

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar Project Management/Coordinator role within construction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of construction programs and labour management
  • Strong computing skills
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Knowledge of Quantity Surveying and material takeoffs (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and quality
  • Proficient in site reporting and documentation
  • Must be flexible and willing to travel to sites across London daily
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
