SENIOR SITE MANAGER NEEDED FOR CLEAN WATER PROJECT £520 PER DAY Job Title: Senior Site Manager Location: Shrewsbury Contractor: Tier 1 Contractor Project: Refurbishment of Clean Water Works Projects Pay: £475-£520 per day (depending on experience) Contract Duration: Initial term of 3 months, with potential for extension Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor. The successful candidate will be based in Shrewsbury and will oversee the refurbishment of clean water works projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the water industry. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all on-site activities related to the refurbishment of clean water works projects. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget. Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or concerns promptly. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the water industry. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification. CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card. Experience in managing temporary work is preferred, but candidates can complete this prior to the start date if necessary. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Benefits: Competitive daily rate of £475-£520, depending on experience. Opportunity to work with a leading Tier 1 contractor.
