Leading main contracting organisation seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract knowledge to join them on a contract basis in Cambridge, This contract role is predominantly site-based, 3 days a week, to enable coordination and alignment with the site team. You will work on the delivery of an £8million project which is due to complete in June 2025. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the commercial delivery of the project Managing site-based commercial activities to ensure successful project delivery Handling subcontractor procurement processes from start to final account Executing NEC change management processes autonomously Coordinating project CVRs and reporting with profit take and revenue recognition Managing upstream change from Early Warning Notices to Implementation Supporting the Quantity Surveyor with CVR/reporting processes where necessary Job Requirements: Extensive experience in quantity surveying working for a main contractor Strong understanding and experience with NEC contracts Proficient in end-to-end subcontractor management Competency in CVR/reporting processes Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering high-quality projects and seeking a new challenge, we would love to hear from you
