We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Groundworks business based near to Chelmsford. The role will involve managing the financial aspects of various projects, including cost estimation, contract administration, and final accounts. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans. Assess and negotiate subcontractor contracts and valuations. Monitor project progress and manage variations. Produce and submit accurate valuations and final accounts. Provide regular financial reports to senior management. Requirements: Proven experience in quantity surveying. Strong understanding of construction contracts and financial management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
