Job Title Managing Surveyor Employer Main Contractor Location City of London Salary Competitive Start Asap A leading bespoke Fit-out & Refurbishment Contractor with a turnover of £80 million is seeking a Managing Surveyor to join their team on a full-time basis, Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage subcontract packages, appointments and material procurement Direct and proficient negotiation of client contract sums Manage Multiple Projects ranging above £10 million Oversee measures and report variances to the board and client team. Prepare valuations for interim applications and assessments. Prepare supporting documentation for the client and their consultants. Produce Bills of quantities for construction and fit out schemes UK and ROI. Monitor costs to ensure budgets are met and attend regular finance meetings internally and externally. Liaise closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to record all variations, change requests and instructions Monitoring sub-contractor accounts, negotiations and referrals. Preparation and submission of weekly financial reports to client and client QS. Monthly cost/value reconciliation to the board. Monitoring cash collection. Finalising of project accounts with detailed analysis and insight into project performance. Providing commercial support to the Estimating and manufacturing teams. Monitoring compliance of projects and following company procedures while delivering best practice. The ideal candidate will have proven track record of numerous projects within Fit-out &Refurbishment with clear levels of responsibility with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience. A strong lead would have a clear understanding of contractual obligations, breaches and remedies, competent knowledge of a range of procurement options available in the industry.
