About the role We’re looking for an Assistant QS, who wants to join a fast paced, hard working team, delivering landmark buildings in London Working closely with a Quantity Surveyor to support with purchasing and administrative tasks, related to specific projects, you will have the opportunity to further develop your understanding and knowledge as part of the project team. Assisting the QS with obtaining, analysing and negotiating on quotes, updating packages on the procurement and materials management schedules, as well as dealing with reactive procurement issues, the day to day workload will be varied and detailed, involving a high level of accuracy and close time management. This is a full time position, Mon-Fri, ideally based at our Chelmsford office to best facilitate training and ongoing development. Includes 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Experience/Training required for the role Some experience in the façade construction industry / product knowledge would be useful, but not essential.
