Job Advertisement: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: East Kilbride (Site Work Across Central Scotland) Industry: Council Void Properties, Roofing, Cladding, and Main Contracting Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience Attractive Package About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Based in East Kilbride, this role involves working on a variety of projects across Central Scotland, including Council Void properties, Roofing, Cladding, and Main Contracting. Experience in these sectors is advantageous but not essential. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function, including cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration. - Oversee the commercial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring profitability and cost control. - Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts. - Work closely with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers. - Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management. Candidate Requirements: - Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in construction, roofing, cladding, or related fields. - Strong understanding of contract law and construction regulations. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
