A unique and boutique role has now come available for an Assistant to Intermediate level Project Manager looking to join one of the most highly successful Commercial Real Estate Practices based out of Leeds. Based within their in-house Building & Project Consultancy team, you will be assisting and advising on several prolific commercial major refurbishments and huge new build projects they have on-going and much more in the pipeline across the northern regions being valued from £3 million all the up to £100 million. They’re ideally looking to speak with Assistant level Construction Project Managers or Building Surveyors already used to working within a fast-paced construction environment on the client/consultancy side. Those with the APM or RICS membership working towards your chartership would be advantageous however the practical experience is key for this position. Ideally, if you're perhaps from a Building Surveying background and like the idea of becoming more of an overseeing Project Manager using your techincal knowledge, this could be the perfect position for you. In return, you will be given the chance to develop within a relatively new and vibrant team of expeirenced Building Surveyors & Project Managers being part of a global entity who can offer you everything from job fufilment in training, social events and satisfying large scale projects to really get stuck into. Experience Needed Relevant degree qualified (Building Surveying/Construction Management) Proven track record as a Project Manager (ideally within a consultancy/client-side environment) Knowledge and experience working through JCT/Traditional Design and Build Contracts Knowledge and experience working through RIBA Stages Responsible for managing and delivering your own projects on time and within budget Pre and post contract experience Dealing with Tenders, negotiating with contractors, procurement knowledge etc Comfortable in Client facing role and developing Client relationships To discuss all my relevant roles in complete confidence please call Rob Hayton at Calibre Search
