First Task are working with a well established joinery sub-contractor to source a Quantity Surveyor for their business in Glasgow. This company turnover c. £17m and work with the majority Tier 1 contractors to deliver internal partitions, drylining and joinery packages up to the value of £4m. Working closely with the Commercial Director your responsibilities will include: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs Pricing various work packages based on project drawings and specifications Material procurement Pricing and management of variations Preparing and submitting monthly valuations Attending progress meetings Negotiating final accounts If you are a QS with 2-3 years experience and looking to join a business which has a great culture and strong team ethos, then please get in touch
