Title: Site manager Project Locations: Nationwide (Birmingham, Doncaster, Heathrow, Liverpool, Wigan) Office Location: Northwest Salary: £25p/h (£1p/h when away) Package: Company Van, Fuel Card, 25 Hols, Pre-booked Digs, £25p/d Food Allowance Start: October Shift Pattern/Hours: 12 on, 2 off / 12-hour shifts / mixture of days & nights. 60 Hour weeks Requirements: CSCS White, black or Gold, SMSTS, First Aid, Ability to read drawings. Project Type: Design & Build Pub, Bar, Restaurant & Retail Projects. My client is a Main Contractor with a strong history in Shopfitting, Internal Fitout & Refurb works across the country who are expanding their business and have started taking on newbuild projects within their sectors. They have experienced growth year on year and due to this are looking to hire an experienced fitout Manager to deliver more projects for the internal arm and an experienced Build Manager to deliver newbuild leisure & retail projects. Most of there work is across the leisure & retail sectors for clients such as: Fraser Group, Wetherspoons, Flannels and Sports Direct. Some of the newbuild work they have won include £12m newbuild Weatherspoon pubs & Hotels. Duties: Oversee and manage all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time and within budget. Coordinate and schedule all activities on the site, including subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople. Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site. Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Collaborate with the design team, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that project goals and objectives are met. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is being carried out to the required standards. Resolve any issues, conflicts, or disputes that may arise during the course of the project. Manage and control project budgets, expenses, and resources, and report on financial progress to senior management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders. Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and milestones. Procure necessary materials, equipment, and resources to ensure the smooth progression of the project. Ensure that all project documentation, permits, and approvals are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and supervise a team of site personnel, providing direction, guidance, and support as needed
