Senior Quantity Surveyor Required in Dundee/Perth Your new company With a busy portfolio of long-term projects in Fife, Dundee & Perth, our client is one of the largest and most established house builders in the UK and can offer endless career opportunities; from senior quantity surveyor towards management & directorate level. Your new role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting directly to a managing quantity surveyor on residential developments in Fife (north) & Dundee. You will be responsible for all commercial functions on 2 sites and required to process & analyse tenders, procure & appoint subcontractors and deal with payments. As time progresses, you will be responsible for 3 sites and have some involvement in managing quantity surveyors on each project. Within a hybrid working model (2 days home/3 days onsite/office), you will collaborate with the wider team to deliver each project within an agreed time frame and on budget. What you'll need to succeed Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, who has a minimum of 6 years experience in the construction industry. You will perhaps have commercial experience within the house building sub sector, but this is preferred and not mandatory. Ideally, you will have experience looking after multiple projects, and you have mentored/managed Quantity Surveyors' in previous work experience. You see yourself as an ambitious individual keen to work with an established building contractor, and you have a drive to pave a successful career through promotion to Managing Quantity Surveyor or above. You have an understanding that working within a business with a large portfolio gives you an opportunity for long-term growth and this will enable you to positively develop your career.
