Our client, who are one of the UK's premier residential developers, are looking to recruit a Construction Manager for their large multi-phase RC frame scheme in South East London. Reporting into a Project Manager, you will have 3 Site Managers reporting into you and your day-to-day duties will be to manage your direct staff, oversee the specialist sub-contractors on the project and to ensure your part of the development runs to speed and programme. You will also ensure Health & Safety is adhered to and attend and chair progress meetings with staff and contractors, you will also submit regular reports to senior management. The selected candidate will have a proven track record as a Construction Manager, covering RC frame, external and façade works on residential developments, working directly for a developer or main contractor. Experience of working on residential projects, along with a construction related degree or equivalent qualification would be advantageous. The development has several years left until completion, so the opportunities to progress are outstanding.
