Project Manager (Pre-construction) required on a permanent Basis We are working alongside a successful London based building main contractor, with turnover reaching £1750m pa and based in North West London. They have had a massive rise in tender awards over the course of the last 18 months are keen to recruit a talented Project Manager to work at the preconstruction stage. The contractor specialises in the luxury prime residential market on schemes ranging from £5m – £30m in value, working on both new build and refurbishment schemes. Our client's business model is extremely well managed, with a reputation for producing a quality project on time and budget, which results in a large amount of repeat business. The successful Project Manager will be predominately office based with responsible for: Overseeing PPQ’s and technical submissions. Working on project programmes. Advising them on build and technical risk. Working hand in hand with the commercial and production teams to ensure all issues are covered. The Project Manager will be advising alongside all departments. Reviewing design, build-ability of projects and logistics. Planning strategies, working with sub-contractors, interrogating design and driving modern methods of construction. Other involvement will include estimating, analysing sub contractors quotes, putting presentation together and once won conducting tender interviews. The Project Manager will have an excellent understanding of the construction process with a thorough understanding of how to set up a successful scheme. Having superb interpersonal and communication skills is also desirable
