Description

My client are a building and refurbishment contractor based in Lancashire and operating throughout the UK. Due to a period of sustained growth, they are recruiting for a repair and maintenance Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their business. As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your key responsibilities will include aiding with the below: Ensuring timely and accurate documentation in line with the reporting schedule, especially for CVRs, forecasts, Commercial Registers, and cash flow projections. Manage cash flow, including timely applications, certifications, invoicing, payments, and receipts, along with careful administration of subcontractor accounts. Ensure compliance with subcontract terms and communicate any commercial risks or threats to the Commercial Manager and the wider operational team. Produce timely Main/Subcontract Final Accounts, including necessary re-measurements to achieve optimal results, and evaluate and agree on all variations, extensions of time, and claims for loss and expense. Support effective risk management. Ensure cash flow forecasts are accurate and optimized where possible.
