I am recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a family-owned business based in Birmingham. They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial department and work on a £100m high-rise residential project in Birmingham city centre. Role: The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support all commercial activities on site and work closely with the design and construction teams to monitor build costs against the programme. This includes reporting any risks, budget variances, and preliminary strategies to the senior surveyor, ensuring alignment with programme completion dates and the overall construction budget. Desirable: HNC or degree qualification is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience are also highly valued. Knowledge of procurement is essential
