Job Title: Assistant or Chartered Building Surveyor Location: Durham Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: This client is a leading multi-disciplinary studio with a growing portfolio of exciting projects across various sectors, including a number of heritage-focused initiatives. To support their expanding workload, we are looking to strengthen our building surveying team by hiring a skilled RICS Building Surveyor or a motivated Graduate Surveyor with a few years of experience. We are committed to supporting the professional development of our team and will provide comprehensive support throughout the RICS qualification process. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed building surveys, inspections, and reports across a diverse range of projects, including heritage properties. Provide expert advice on building issues, including repairs, maintenance, and restoration. Assist in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes. Support the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and cost estimates.
