Senior Quantity Surveyor – The Senior Quantity Surveyor can expect a salary up to £95,000 (happy to pay on a permanent or self-employed basis). Our client is a national construction main contractor entrusted with some of Britain's most prestigious residential and commercial properties. Their proven expertise enables them to solve the demanding and technically difficult issues often raised by new and historic buildings alike. The breadth of their experience and skills base, mean they deliver the whole project - from initial concept through to completion and beyond as needed. A high proportion of their work is repeat business commissioned by satisfied clients who trust their unique blend of customer care, quality and total delivery. They have recently been awarded a £18m change of use refurbishment of a commercial building into a boutique hotel in the city of London close to Moorgate. The scheme is a heavy structural cut and carve refurbishment. They are coming to the successful conclusion of the enabling works package and are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (number 1) to strengthen their on-site commercial team. They require the skills of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to undertake commercial duties involving the whole array of responsibilities from procurement through to final accounts. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyors will have a background and be competent on the day to day commercial issues of an on-going site. Other pre requisites include: Ideally experienced within the refurbishment sector Formal Quantity Surveyor's qualification. Strong communication skills. Commercially and technically competent. Stable career background The contractor is looking to double their turnover in the next 3 years.
